<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber storage tool which can easily store or take out the surplus of an optical fiber and is small in size, simple in structure and high in operability. <P>SOLUTION: The optical fiber storing tool comprises at least a winding shaft 5 constituted of two shaft parts 4 forming a gap 6 into which an optical fiber f can be inserted, a base plate 2 for fixing both the shaft parts 4 and fiber press plates 3 arranged on the opposite side of the base plate 2 through the shaft parts 4 and divided so as to be continued to the gap 6. A fiber storing space 9 for storing the optical fiber f is formed on the outer periphery of the winding shaft 5 and the space 9 is divided into two layers, i.e. 1st and 2nd storing spaces 7, 8 by a diaphragm 10 formed between the base plate 2 and the fiber press plates 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
