PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus provided with a sheet post-processor, made compact in the width direction, and improved in visibility to a sheet placed on a discharged sheet tray and operability in taking out the discharged sheet. SOLUTION: This apparatus includes: an image forming part 2; a sheet post-processor part 6 having at least a post-processing tray 61 and a stapler 63; a paper discharge roller 66 for discharging a sheet placed on the post-processing tray 61; and a discharged paper tray 67 for receiving a sheet discharged by the paper discharge roller 66. The post-processing tray 61 is disposed above the image forming part 2, and the discharged paper tray 67 is disposed with the sheet placing surface lower than the post-processing tray 61.
