PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission screen having a wide viewing field angle and projecting an image of high definition/high resolution while reducing moire. SOLUTION: The transmission screen is provided at least with a Fresnel lens sheet and a microlens sheet which has unit lenses having an optically formed light shielding layer arranged two-dimensionally. The Fresnel lens sheet is disposed on the light incident side and the microlens sheet is disposed on the emission side so that the Fresnel lens and the microlenses are facing each other. The pitch (Fp) of the Fresnel section of the Fresnel lens sheet, the pitch (Mp) of the microlens section of the microlens sheet on which a black matrix is formed so that the Fresnel lens and the microlenses face each other and the pixels (Gp) to be projected by a liquid crystal projector satisfy a specific relation.
