PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly apply a processing liquid on the surface of a photographic film in a photographic film developing device in which a processing liquid such as a developer liquid is directly applied on the emulsion surface of a photographic film. SOLUTION: The photographic film 1 is wound and carried on the cylindrical face 30a of a carrier drum 30 having the rotation axis in the width direction of the photographic film 1, with the emulsion face 1a of the photographic film 1 outside. Coating heads 51 to 55 for the processing liquid are disposed while keeping a specified distance from the cylindrical face 30a of the carrying drum 30, and the processing liquid such as a developer liquid is sprayed or applied on the emulsion face 1a of the photographic film 1 wound and carried on the cylindrical face 30a.
