PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas meter which supports sales promotion of special gaseous combustion equipment without complicating charge system. SOLUTION: The gas meter which measures the consumption of gas, by integrating gas flow supplied to gas fittings which a flow rate detecting means 63 detects is equipped with: a use detecting means 61a1 for detecting start of use and end of use of the gas fittings which turn to a discount object of gas charge required according to the consumption of gas; an operating time integrating means 61a2 for integrating a period from detection of start of use of the use detecting means 61a1 to detection of end of use, as the operation time of the gas fittings for the discount object; an operating time storage means 62 for storing the operating time integrated by the operating time integrating means 61a2; and an operating time output means 61a3 which correlates the operating time of the storage means 62 with the consumption of gas, and performs output for confirming the operating state, when validation request of the operating state of the gas fittings for discount is received.
