PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document retrieval device for appropriately setting a registration keyword (index word) given to a document registered in a database. SOLUTION: A document retrieval server starts up a document registration program (S11) to display a document registration request reception form on a display. A PC (Personal Computer) terminal device allows keyword information such as a keyword and a weight rank to be inputted into the reception form (S12) and the reception form with document data to be registered attached thereto is transmitted to the retrieval server. The retrieval server gives ID (Identification) to the received document data (S13), and registers the document data in a registered document management part of the database and the keyword information in a registered keyword management part, respectively, by document ID (S14).
