PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight fixture for a heat treatment with which the heat treatment can be applied to a small article such as a pin, and which hardly suffers thermal deformation and has high strength. SOLUTION: The fixture for a heat treatment consists of a bottom wall part (1) and a side wall part (10) and is formed to a shape close to a box. The bottom wall part (1) is provided with a plurality of elongated, hexagonal holes (2, 2, etc.) with honeycomb structure. The bottom wall part (1) is apparently divided into four partitions (1a to 1d). The plurality of elongated hexagonal holes (2, 2, etc.) in each partition is oriented in the same direction, and they are substantially rectangularly adjoined to the plurality of elongated, hexagonal holes (2, 2, etc.) in the adjacent partition. Further, a plurality of side part windows (11, 11, etc.) are opened on the side wall part (10). A positioning rib (15) is integrally cast and molded to each corner, and a support (17) is integrally cast and molded to the bottom wall part (1). COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
