PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of the crack or break of a yoke part of a funnel by simply and effectively improving the inside surface side part of a wall part 5b corresponding to a rectangular yoke part in a plunger for molding the funnel in order to cope with the supercooling of the wall part on a short axis S, the insufficient cooling of the wall part on a diagonal axis D and the insufficient cooling of the wall part on the long axis L. SOLUTION: The plunger is provided with: a body part-correspondent wall part 5a corresponding to the inside surface of a body part of the funnel; and the rectangular yoke part-correspondent wall part 5b corresponding to the inside surface of the rectangular yoke part continuing to the body part of the funnel. A cooling medium is circulated along the inside surface of the rectangular yoke part-correspondent wall part 5b, a heat insulating part 6 is formed on the short axis S in the inside surface side part (around a cylindrical surface 5by) of the rectangular yoke part-correspondent wall part 5b, a 1st cooling promoting part 7 is formed on the long axis L, and a 2nd cooling promoting part 8 is formed on the diagonal axis D.
