An arrangement for the stamping and removal of planar structured members (20), comprises mould base (2) and top (3) plates, which, when placed together, have an intermediate cavity. The plates can move towards each other so that a component can be stamped between them. The base plate has members which enable the stamped component to be removed. The areas of the base plate that come into contact with the stamped component are roughened, e.g. by sand blasting. The base plate has a removal frame (11) which can be raised and removed from the base plate, along with the stamped component. The base plate has a gas outlet cone (16) which is connected to a gas advancing unit.
