The ball valve for the shutting off of a twin chamber pipe has the spherical valve component (1) divided into two chambers by a dividing wall. The inlet (5) and the outlet (6) connector are similarly divided into chambers by a dividing wall. The dividing walls align with one another and lie in the plane of the spindle (2) of the valve component's rotation device. The dividing walls in the inlet and outlet connector are formed by components which are pushed into the valve housing (3) and fixed by slots and/or protrusions.
