COMPUTER-ASSISTED DIAGNOSTIC METHOD AND SYSTEM THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic method by which the precision of a diagnostic result is enhanced by performing an image processing with a time-lapse differential image prepared by applying a time-lapse differential processing to two digital chest images different in photographic period as an input image thereby detecting candidates of nodular shadow, and displaying the candidates and a discrimination diagnostic result on the time-lapse differential image, and to provide a diagnostic system therefor.

SOLUTION: In this system, the candidates of the nodular shadow 3 is detected by performing the image processing by using the time-lapse differential image 2 prepared by applying the differential processing with two digital chest images 1 different in photographic period as the input image.
