<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner having a wind direction regulating part capable of establishing effective air conditioning by deflecting the wind direction in the vertical direction efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: In the cooling operation, a first wind direction board 12 is rotated approximately in the horizontal positioning while part of a second wind direction board 24 is abutted to the bottom of a transmission mechanism case 23 to put a transmission mechanism part 18 in the locked condition, and a louver frame 15 and the second wind direction board 24 are rotated approximately in the horizontal positioning against the energizing force of a first spring using a second drive motor driven counterclockwise. In the heating operation, a diffuser 9 is rotated downward, and the first wind direction board 12 is rotated approximately in the vertical positioning, and the transmission mechanism case 23 is abutted to the oversurface of a recessed part 2' of a blowout hole 2 by the second drive motor driven clockwise so as to make locating, and the driving force is transmitted to the output shaft 17 via the transmission mechanism part 18, and the forefront of the second wind direction board 24 is rotated downward against the energizing force of the second spring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
