<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that an octave tuning cannot be carried out with a six-string electric guitar (electric sitar guitar) equipped with a bridge "jawari" device for a sitar and when a touch/chatter sound adjustment of one string is made with the heights of three screws, touch/chatter sounds of the five remaining strings get out of tune since the bridge "jawari" of the sitar is formed of one plate. <P>SOLUTION: The bridge "jawari" device for the sitar is fitted to a stringed instrument directly or through a sitar bridge "jawari" device fitting member and independent bridges "jawari" of the sitar move in a string tensing direction to enable octave tuning. Further, stabler touch sounds and chatter sounds (sitar sound) by the strings can be provided by adjustments with the screws buried in the bridges "jawari" of the sitar along the height, i.e. fine adjustments of the angle and area of contact with the respective strings and the bridges "jawari" of the sitar. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
