<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical device in which exact operation etc. are expectable by carrying out a bonding step of both substrates with accurate positioning. <P>SOLUTION: The electrooptical device is provided with a TFT array substrate (10) and a counter substrate (20) with a liquid crystal layer (50) sandwiched in between, a post spacer (401) formed on the counter substrate and a recessed part (16B) formed on the TFT array substrate, in which a tip part of the post spacer is fitted, existing between protruding parts (16A). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
