PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating device having a heating coil which reduces an influence of a proximity action of high-frequency current and decreases a coil resistance to the high-frequency current. SOLUTION: The induction heating device includes the heating coil formed by winding a coil conductor 16 for induction heating a material to be heated by supplying the high-frequency current to the conductor 16. The conductor 16 is formed by intertwining strands each having an insulating layer on a periphery of a conductor or assembled conductors 14 obtained by bundling the strands, and is provided with an insulator 17 on the outer periphery of the coil conductor. The heating coil reduces the influences of a skin effect and the proximity action of the high-frequency current by manufacturing the coil by winding the coil conductor 16 having the insulator 17 on the outer periphery, and reduces the coil resistance to the high-frequency current. Thus, the induction heating device in which self-heating of the heating coil is small and a heating efficiency is good, can be provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
