摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable multicore optical connector which is small-sized and easy to manufacture and assemble. SOLUTION: On a plane substrate 21, a plurality of array guide grooves 22 are arrayed and formed. The array pitch intervals of the array guide grooves 22 are nearly equal to the external diameter of bare optical fibers 4a and 4b. At the rear end side of the plane substrate 21, a 1st optical fiber ribbon 6a and a 2nd optical fiber ribbon 6b are arranged one over the other, and 1st bare optical fibers 4a of the 1st optical fiber ribbon 6a and 2nd bare optical fibers 4b of the 2nd optical fiber ribbon 6b have their array converted by turns and are put on the array guide grooves 22 and pressed with a pressure member 23 from above the bare optical fibers 4a and 4b on their array tip sides to clamp and fix the bare optical fibers 4a and 4b. In a formation area of the array guide grooves 22, a filter insertion groove 17 is formed across the array guide grooves 22, and a filter 16 is inserted into the filter insertion groove 17 and then inserted into the 2nd bare optical fibers 4b on the side of the 2nd optical fiber ribbon 6b.
