PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately, quickly and automatically prepare various data including photographed images by integrally processing photographic position information and date information. SOLUTION: In this digital camera with a photographic position and azimuth or a portable telephone system with an image, a digital camera or a portable telephone with an image is provided with a GPS function and a function of sensing an azimuth. The position of a photographer is specified with longitude and latitude, and the image pickup direction information is acquired simultaneously when a shutter is depressed, and the photographic time is recorded, and an arrow is automatically drawn to the azimuth direction acquired from the photographic position on the prepared map of a computer screen as a series of the image processing of the computer so that a map image with directions can be prepared. The map image with directions is attached with the photographed image, the longitude/latitude information, the azimuth information and the photographic date corresponding to the map image with directions so that accurate and quick direction decision picture information photographic recording can be realized.
