PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine and a rocket suitable to be used in an education program. SOLUTION: The engine includes an inner wall member having an outer circumferential surface, an outer wall member that surrounds the inner wall member with a predetermined distance from the outer circumferential surface and that forms a mixing chamber having an opening portion, and injection means for injecting a propellant in a liquid phase with a predetermined boiling point and a heating material whose temperature is higher than the predetermined boiling point to evaporate the propellant by the heating material and generate a jet flow moving from the opening portion of the chamber to the outside of the chamber.
