PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file which is easily folded and can be folded with good operability. SOLUTION: In this file 10, a first front plate 14a and a second front plate 14b are connected with each other in parallel by an appropriate width through a folding part 16, and folding-back pieces 26a and 26b are continuously provided on the end edges of the first and second front plates 14a and 14b intersecting at right angles the folding part 16 through the folding part 16, and being continued to the folding part 16 between the first and second front plates 14a and 14b, a turning-in part 60 bent into a chevron mark-like shape is formed by a pair of the first hinge parts 62a and 62b with folding-back pieces 26a and 26b toward the separating direction from the inner side faces of the first and second front plates 14a and 14b, and a suppressing part 66 for suppressing that the turning-in part 60 is bent to a valley side at the first hinge parts 60a and 60b, is formed between the first hinge parts 62a and 62b on the turning-in part 60.
