PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat stand-up type chair that is operated smoothly and securely. SOLUTION: The seat standing up type chair is composed of an upper gear arm that is in an arm shape with a projected half arcuate part around a pivot of the proximal end section and teeth cut around the periphery of the half circular ark part, a lower gear arm that is in an arm shape with a projected half circular arc part around the pivot of the proximal end section and teeth cut around the periphery of the half arcuate part, which is engaged with the upper gear arm, a seat arm of which proximal end is connected by a pin with the upper gear arm and a seat body is installed on the top, an arm that is arm-shaped which proximal end is connected by a pin with the tip of the upper gear arm and the tip is connected by a pin with the tip of the seat arm, and an elastic body that draws down the proximal end of the upper gear arm and raises up the seat.
