PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-assemble lock type parking apparatus by integrating a mechanism for stopping the apparatus when a flap touches a car by erecting with a safety measure against an event that a foot is caught in the apparatus while the apparatus is lowering. SOLUTION: A spring deflected by a specified amount is installed in a body. The situation that the flap is erected and comes into contact with the car is detected by that the spring is pressed by the fixed end of a hydraulic cylinder driving the flap to further deflect the spring. The situation that the foot is caught is detected by that the fixed end is moved apart from the spring. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
