PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontally drawable tide gate which enables smooth passage of a passenger, a working vehicle such as a forklift, is free from accumulation of water, deposition of dirt, etc. around a guide rail, resistant to rusting, has a beautiful appearance and allows anyone to easily open/close the gate. SOLUTION: The horizontally drawable tide gate provided in the seashore or the like includes the tide gate guide rail (rail member) 1 which has its upper surface 1a flush with the ground, and does not include a recess formed in the upper surface. Further a wheel 4 of the gate is of a flangeless type which generates small frictional resistance, and a tide gate body 2 is provided with an upper guide roller 11 and a leading roller 12 for preventing the body from rolling for safety.
