Pigment formulation contains (a) 1,4-diketo-3,6-diphenylpyrrolo(3,4-c)pyrrole pigment(s) (V) as basic pigment and (b) pigment dispersant(s) comprising 1,4-diketo-3,6-d-phenylpyrrolo(3,4-c)pyrrole derivative(s) (I) with sulfonamide and optionally sulfo or with sulfonyl or sulfinyl substituent(s). Pigment formulation contains (a) 1,4-diketo-3,6-diphenylpyrrolo(3,4-c)pyrrole pigment(s) of formula (V) as basic pigment and (b) pigment dispersant(s) comprising 1,4-diketo-3,6-d-phenylpyrrolo(3,4-c)pyrrole derivative(s) of formula (I) with sulfamoyl and optionally sulfo or with sulfonyl or sulfinyl substituent(s); R20, R21, R22, R23 = H, halogen, 1-4 C alkyl, 1-4 C alkoxy, CN or phenyl; R31 = 0.1-4.0 sulfamoyl, sulfonyl or sulfinyl groups; R32 = 0-2 sulfo groups if R31 is sulfamoyl, otherwise H; Q = a group derived from a diketopyrrolopyrrole compound of formula (Ia) with 0-4 halogen, 1-4 C alkyl, 1-4 C alkoxy or CN substituent(s).
