<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and quickly set a physical address assigned to each node in a network installed on a ship and to assign the physical address even in an address management disabled state. <P>SOLUTION: Various nodes such as engine nodes 4A, 4B, and a remote control node 11 are connected and also an address management node 16 is connected to a transmission line 15 configuring the network, the address management node 16 usually applies centralized management to the physical addresses assigned to each node, and on the occurrence of abnormity in the address management node 16, address acquisition processing using a tentative physical address is executed between a node newly taking participation to the network and other nodes for acquisition of the physical address so as to surely prevent the network from being brought into the address management disabled state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
