<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize equipment to be mounted on a compact radio terminal when measuring antenna characteristics in the compact radio terminal utilizing a light signal. <P>SOLUTION: The antenna characteristic measuring apparatus comprises: a transmitter 5 for outputting a transmission signal; an E/O conversion section 4 for converting the transmission signal outputted by the transmitter 5 to the light signal; the compact radio terminal 1 that receives light signal being converted by the E/O conversion section 4 via an optical fiber, includes an O/E conversion section 3 for converting to a high-frequency signal, and mounts an antenna 2 to be measured for irradiating the high-frequency signal being converted by the O/E conversion section 3; and a receiver 7 that receives the high-frequency signal being irradiated by the antenna 2 to be measured via a reception antenna 6 and measures radiation characteristics in the antenna 2 to be measured based on the received high-frequency signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
