<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic commerce system capable of reducing the load of communication cost of a user when performing an electronic commerce by use of a cellular phone having Internet connecting function, and further converting the communication cost to be charged to points so as to be usable in a shop. <P>SOLUTION: In this system, when obtaining information by the access to a home page of a shop site D through the server of a browser system B having compression/expansion function, points are generated according to the communication cost. This system has a database F for managing the points, and the points are added to each cellular phone.
