<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact IC card reader/writer terminal which is prevented from becoming inoperable resulting from an increase in power current due to a change in a load state when a current margin with respect to a prescribed maximum current value does not exist. <P>SOLUTION: A power source is supplied to the reader/writer terminal 2 from an external device through a USB cable 3. A current monitoring circuit 6 monitoring current of the power source is arranged near a USB cable connector 5. When a detected current value exceeds a prescribed value, a digital processing part 7 changes an amplification degree of an amplifier outputting output current to an antenna A1 supplying power to an IC card and controls output current to be small in accordance with the detected current value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
