<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an in-pipe cleaning method capable of easily and efficiently removing deposits, such as rust and scale, sticking to the wall surfaces in pipes, such as water supply and drainage pipes, cold and hot water pipes for air conditioning, and drain pipes, and other residual materials, then washing the wall surfaces and cleaning the inside of the pipes to a clean state, and an in-pipe cleaning appliance used for the in-pipe cleaning method. <P>SOLUTION: The main arrangement consists of a bifurcating means which is insertable along a conduit to a pipe end of a sink of a high level or a wash bowl etc., in a cleaning section while passing washing water and liquid chemicals therein and rotating a wire, a valve closing means which can be plugged by an air valve expanded by the air forced in from outside and is attachable to a pipe part at a low level of the cleaning section, and required liquid tanks, such as a water tank and citric acid and other chemical liquid tanks which are connected with pressure resistant hoses by being suitably intervened with the bifurcating means and the valve closing means and installed in parallel in a manner as to permit water supply by respectively interposing valves therebetween. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
