PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-voltage rotary machine stator coil which is excellent in electric field moderation performance by reducing the increase of the dielectric loss of an coil insulating layer by the application of a nonlinear high-resistance corona shield in a middle-sized machine coil, and raising the capacitance of the high resistance corona shield. SOLUTION: The stator coil is characterized in that a semiconductive tape consisting of the SiC tape of the high resistance corona shield layer is made to contain the alumina particles or zircon particles of ceramic particles, and this semiconductive tape is wound around the coil insulating layer.
