INSUFFICIENT FITTING PREVENTING CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insufficient fitting preventing connector capable of positively detecting a partly fit state when the fit state of female and male connectors is in a partly fit state. SOLUTION: The insufficient fitting preventing connector is provided with the male connector 20 housing a tab terminal 21 and having a lock beak 22, and the female connector 30 housing a tab receiving terminal 31 electrically connected to the tab terminal 21 and having a flexible lock arm 33 passing over the lock beak 22 in fitting with the male connector 20. A fitting detecting member 50 having a flexible fastening arm 51 and detecting the mutual partly fit state of the male and female connectors 20 and 30 by slide movement to be allowed or not is externally fit on the female connector 30. A recess 31 reducing a contact area wherein the flexible lock arm 33 and the lock beak 22 contact is formed in at least either the flexible lock arm 33 or the lock beak 22. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
