PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the uneven abrasion of a magnetic shield layer, decrease in a reproduced output due to stains attached to a sliding surface and the fluctuation of the reproduced output. SOLUTION: The magnetic shield layer wherein a sticking matter is more easily stuck to its sliding surface between a lower magnetic shield layer 3 and an upper magnetic shield layer 12 when a tape recording medium slides is arranged on a side where the tape recording medium is inserted when mounted on a rotating drum.
