PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide network terminal equipment whose maintenance work can be simplified when a personal computer of a service man of a customer engineer is connected to a network such as LAN, for example. SOLUTION: A Internet facsimile machine 20 is network terminal equipment connected to LAN 30. Equipment is provided with a compact flash 8 storing a network operation mode setting table including network connection information at a regular mode and a maintenance mode. Network connection information includes presence or absence of use of DHCP, an IP address, a sub-net mask and a gateway as shown in a diagram 4. In an Internet facsimile machine 20, an operator selectively sets the regular mode or the maintenance mode by using a switching key of the modes in the uppermost row in a network operation mode setting picture shown in the diagram 4.
