PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheathed thermocouple usable at a high temperature of a connection part. SOLUTION: This sheathed thermocouple wherein the sheath of the sheathed thermocouple is connected to a compensating lead wire in an internal space of an external sleeve is formed as follows: the external sleeve has a cylindrical shape, an open end on the base end on the compensating lead wire side, and the other end inserted into the sheath; the other end of an internal sleeve which is a slanting open end formed by a crossing face slantingly in the axial direction of a cylindrical base end on the compensating lead wire side provided in the internal space of the external sleeve is inserted into the sheath; the end of the sheath is positioned in the internal space of the internal sleeve; two thermocouple elements exposed from the end are projected from the slanting open end; a first filling material having excellent heat-resistance and gastightness is filled in the internal space of the internal sleeve; the end of the compensating lead wire is positioned in the internal space of the external sleeve; two core wires exposed from the end are connected to the thermocouple elements; and a second filling material is filled in the internal space of the external sleeve.
