PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device applicable to any measuring method at low cost, wherein a manufacturer manufacturing the measuring device or a user or a consumer of the measuring device can accurately correct the gravity corresponding to a use location where the measuring device is used even when the use location changes, and the state of being implemented is clearly displayed. SOLUTION: In the measuring device provided with a display, the display displays use region related information. Software can selectively switch the displayed contents of the use region related information, while a protecting means of the software protects the switching of the displayed contents so as to prevent the switching due to an unauthorized use.
