PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a micropipette of a simple constitution for easily manufactured and highly densely arranging a large number of very small spots in a micropipette used for highly densely aligning and fixing a small volume of droplets such as the manufacture of DNA chips. SOLUTION: A plurality of fine and trapezoidal cavities 2 are formed in a matrix shape by photolithography and etching and arranged in a silicon substrate 1. An enclosure 5 is arranged on the upper surface of the silicon substrate 1 in such a way as to block the upper surface of the silicon substrate 1 to form a pressure chamber 4 surrounded by the upper surface of the silicon substrate 1 and the enclosure 5. By controlling the pressure of the pressure chamber 4 by a mass flow controller 7, it is possible to draw a sample solution in the cavities 2 or discharge it by suction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
