PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic material treatment apparatus capable of choosing the operation of a proper treatment mode immediately after charging material to be treated and of automatically changing to an optimum treatment mode corresponding to the change of a treating condition of the material to be treated. SOLUTION: A manual treatment mode (for example, a strong or weak treatment mode) selected by a user's disposal and an automatic treatment mode are provided. When the manual treatment mode is selected, the mode is controlled so as to move to the automatic treatment mode at a time when the water content of the materials to be treated reaches a predetermined value.
