摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive foaming roller for electrophotography which is constituted so that the cell diameter of its surface is very small, whose hardness is low and further which has uniform electric resistance, and to provide its manufacture method. <P>SOLUTION: In manufacturing the conductive foaming rubber roller where a conductive shaft body coated with a vulcanizing adhesive and conductive foaming rubber are integrally formed by filling the cavity of a metallic mold with the conductive shaft body and unvulcanized conductive rubber composition and pressuring and heating them so as to perform foaming vulcanization, the conductive rubber composition incorporates epichlorohydrin rubber by 50 to 100 mass pts. in the 100 mass pts. rubber component, and %CureÐTP80 of the unvulcanized conductive rubber composition when measuring at 140&deg;C is &le;10%, and the number of added mass pts. of a foaming agent is 2 to 5 mass pts. based on the 100 mass pts. rubber component, and the roller is ground to have the specified outside diameter and shape after the foaming vulcanization. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
