<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer container capable of maintaining the properties of conventional multilayer containers such as gas barrier property, shock exfoliation resistance and the like and being manufactured for a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: In the co-injection stretch blow-molded container composed of a thermoplastic polyester layer A and an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin composition layer B, the intrinsic viscosity of the thermoplastic polyester A is 0.70 to 0.90 dl/g, the content of a cyclic trimer is less than 0.50 wt.%, the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin composition B is 20 to 60 mol.% in ethylene content, more than 90 mol.% of saponification number and contains a prescribed amount of trace constituents. The ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin composition (B) has a melt index of 0.1 to 10 g/10 minutes and the thickness ratio (layer A/layer B) of the container body is 90/10 to 99/1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
