FLYWHEEL ROTOR FOR PERMANENT MAGNETOGENERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flywheel rotor for magnetogenerator wherein hot air in a flywheel is smoothly discharged through ventilating holes. SOLUTION: One end of the cylindrical portion 1a of the flywheel 1 is closed with a bottom portion 1b, and the bottom portion 1b is provided in its center with a boss portion 1c for supporting a rotating shaft. A plurality of permanent magnets 2 are attached to the inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical portion 1a of the flywheel 1 with gaps 3 provided between the adjacent permanent magnets. The ventilating holes 6 are formed in the cylindrical portion 1a of the flywheel 1 in correspondence with the gaps 3 between the adjacent permanent magnets 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
