PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce phase distortion in an amplifier, for example, even when a high level signal is instantaneously input in such an amplification apparatus that an input signal is amplified by the amplifier and output distortion is compensated by amplification. SOLUTION: The amplification apparatus comprises a distortion compensated amplification section to amplify the input signal by the amplifier and to compensate the output distortion by amplifying by the amplifier, and a limiter circuit which has a function to decrease a signal having a threshold level to produce a phase by amplifier in the front stage of the distortion compensated amplification section.
