PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio mobile terminal which reduces registration operations for remote control data and further adds a remote control function to improve operativity. SOLUTION: Remote control data corresponding to remote operations for every operation target apparatus is downloaded from a server on the Internet, which pre-stores the remote control data, through an RF 50 and then stores the downloade data in a memory 54 as associated with model names. In a remote control function mode, with regard to a selected operation target apparatus, the downloaded remote control data for the model name is read out, and then remote operations of the operation target apparatus are associated with each operation of a switch 32 and a remote control signal pattern is generated.
