PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve the problem that crosstalk of signals occurs due to supply of common signals to the other terminals of auxiliary capacitance in individual display pixels and wide-band image signals cannot be transmitted in display pixels in a conventional device which displays multi-phase image signals. SOLUTION: Though one of two terminals of each auxiliary capacitance Csnij is connected to the source of a switching transistor Trnij and a pixel electrode 206 as conventional, the other terminal of the auxiliary capacitance is connected to a signal line CCn. The signal line CCn is wiring which is common to display pixels of respective phases of a multi-phase input image signal but is different by phases (n phases). Since a prescribed voltage is individually supplied from n different signal lines to n auxiliary capacitance for simultaneously storing sampling signals of the multi-phase input image signal, occurrence of crosstalk of signals passing auxiliary capacitance is suppressed.
