PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a precision mold safely and in a short time without requiring a technical skill, and a device used for this method. SOLUTION: In a mold composed of a male die and a female die at least with a metallic mold face, the surface of a model is coated with a molten metal, then the model coated with a molten metal is set in a frame for the female die and the female die is lined by filling it with a lining agent. Next, the surface of the female die including the model is coated with the molten metal, then a frame for the male die is fitted to the upper part of the female die coated with the molten metal and the male die is lined by filling the frame with the lining agent. The male die may be coated with the molten metal by means of jet molding. Prior to the coating using the molten metal, a release agent may be applied to a region to be coated with the molten metal. The model may be constituted of a master model of a desired shape to be molded and a base to be added to the upper part of the master model when the model is set in the frame for the female die.
