PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which can contribute to environmental protection by eliminating generation of waste components. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus 200 equipped with an I/F fixing section 10 for connecting an I/F board 11 provided with a cable connector 14 comprises a connector arranging panel 12 for closing the I/F fixing section 10, and a switching panel 15 being fixed to the connector arranging panel 12. An opening 13 for exposing the connector 14 is made in the connector arranging panel 12, a window 17 for exposing the connector 14 is made in the switching panel 15 and a part 16 for shielding the opening 13 is provided. When the I/F board 11 is connected, fixing mode of the switching panel 15 is altered for the connector arranging panel 12 such that the window 17 overlaps the opening 13. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
