GEAR LAPPING METHOD AND GEAR LAPPING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily measure a lapped gear. SOLUTION: This gear lapping machine is provided with: a rotary device 20 for rotating a pinion 10 and the gear 12 in a mutually meshing state; a compound liquid supply device 22 for supplying a lapping compound liquid to the pinion 10 and the gear 12; a cleaning device 24 for cleaning the lapped pinion 10 and gear 12; and a measuring device 26 for measuring a result of lapping after cleaning. The lapping compound liquid is sprinkled on the pinion 10 and the gear 12 while being rotated by the rotary device 20. After lapping, cleaning and measurement are performed in a state of being still held in the the rotary device 20. When requiring the lapping again by a measuring result of the lapping, the lapping is performed while being installed in the rotary device 20. The lapping compound liquid is separated into an abrasive grain and a lap liquid by a centrifugal separator 130, and the lap liquid is used as a cleaning liquid. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
