PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING A COMPOSITE PRODUCT FROM RECYCLED PLASTIC MATERIALS, AS WELL AS PRODUCT OBTAINED WITH BY SUCH PROCESS

A process for manufacturing a composite product (M), particularly, but not limited to, a floor or pavement tile, from recycled plastic materials, comprises the steps of s (A) withdrawing recycled plastic materials, dosing (B) the plastic materials, comminuting (C) them into granules, mixing (D) the granules to form a substantially homogeneous mixture, at least partly drying (E) the mixture, heating (F) the mixture to an at least partial molten state to obtain a mass of injectable material, injecting (G) the injectable mass into a female mold to form the core (N) to of the product (M). The process further includes the steps of preparing (H) a relatively thin preformed plastic casing (W), the casing (W) being previously introduced (L) in the mold cavity before injecting the mass of injectable material such as to be stably anchored to the core (N) and define the outer surface layer of the finished product (M).
