<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera-juxtaposing outdoor luminaire having a relatively small outside dimension, and capable of reducing air pressure load, of expanding a monitoring range of a camera, and of preventing light from significantly leaking to the outside of a road. <P>SOLUTION: This outdoor luminaire has a luminaire body 1 having an opening 2 in its undersurface, and composed by installing a socket 5 for mounting a light source in its inside and by forming a part of the undersurface into a closure part 3, and is structured by installing the camera 11 on the closure part of the luminaire body. The outdoor luminaire is structured by installing, between the camera and the opening of the undersurface of the luminaire body, a shading plate 20 having a shape capable of preventing light emitted from the opening in the undersurface of the luminaire body from entering into the camera. A flat front glass plate 7 is disposed on the opening in the undersurface of the luminaire body by expanding and tilting it in a direction across the road. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
