<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a life jacket for protecting a wearer from attacks by a gun or a knife without limiting any action of the wearer, and ensuring sufficient buoyancy even when the wearer falls into water while wearing the equipment including heavy articles or the like. <P>SOLUTION: An accommodation part 4 to contain a buoyant member 3 is provided inside an external member 2, and a protective material 5 formed in a substantially same shape as that of the buoyant member 3 is contained in the accommodation part 4. A buoyant bag 17 to be inflated by an inflator 18 is fitted to a part of the external member 2, and a buoyant bag containing part 19 having a structure to accommodate the buoyant bag 17 and to be released by the inflation of the buoyant bag 17 to discharge the buoyant bag 17 is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
