<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge a degree of freedom of customizing of display specifications of a display device for a vehicle without deviating from standard display specifications of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The display specifications in the display device 1a for the vehicle is constituted so as to customize based on a display specification storage device 2 provided in the outside of the vehicle 1 and storing information related to the standard display specifications of the display device per vehicle and an external device 2 which is provided in the outside of the vehicle 1, in which the standard display specifications of the display device in the vehicle specified by specification of specific information specifying the vehicle are obtained from the display specification storage device 2, and which can assist in customizing the display specifications of the display device 1a by a user so as to adapt to the obtained standard display specifications. Consequently, when customizing the display specifications of the display device 1a, a degree of freedom of customizing by the user can be enlarged without deviating from the standard display specifications of the vehicle because customizing is supported so as to adapt to the standard display specifications obtained by the external device 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
