PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finish a stop collar surface of a crankshaft with a high processing precision only by one milling. SOLUTION: For a throwaway tip (14) having top and bottom surfaces (11, 12) and side surfaces connecting the top and bottom surfaces, used for a disc type cutter, especially for a crankshaft milling-cutter, on the top surface, protruded parts (10<SP>1</SP>, 10<SP>2</SP>) are formed at least at two corners, preferably they are extended over full length of one side surface of the cutter and on a plane surface of cutting edge (8) formed at least on one side surface, an edge part connecting the top surface (11) to the cutting edge (8) has protruded parts (10<SP>1</SP>, 10<SP>2</SP>) to a center part (9) at two end parts of the edge respectively.
